August 10th ~ Layout of the Week

Hi! It's Olivia! :) I'm here on this wonderful Wednesday to show you two gorgeous layouts made with kits by Mel. :)

This first layout I have is "Dandelion Wonder" by lwentkie.

I love the darker colors in the layout. The flower cluster on the top of the frame is so pretty. I also love the paper strips behind the picture. :) Wonderful layout, lwentkie!

lwentkie used Whispers in her layout. You can buy this kit in Mel's Gotta Pixel store.

My second layout I chose is "Seattle" by seniorgal.

This layout popped out in the gallery with the bright orange paper. Then I saw her clustering ... iLove! She's also rockin' the huge photo! :) Beautiful layout, seniorgal!

seniorgal used Got a Feeling, which is available in Mel's Gotta Pixel and Scrapbook-Bytes stores.

Layout of the Week!

Hi everyone! Here I am again to bring you one of the outsanding layouts we could find around the digiscrap world using one (or some) of Mel's creations...

I wanted to see some uniqueness in our scrappers' pages... Something that stood out from the rest. I was browsing through Mel's galleries and I found this by wtunison:

I love how she disoriented the stacked paper on top of the blue background paper. If not for that part, that whole page would have turned out flat, too simple and uninteresting. It's amazing how one paper can change everything, right? Plus, if you pick the right colors, you'll get a really fantastic layout.

In this page, wtunison used Mel's Duolicious collab creation with Danimoy Designs, Look Up which you can find at her store in Gotta Pixel.

Layout of the Week

Hi all! I hope those of you in the States are ready for Thanksgiving tomorrow. Four years ago, my husband and I were designated to make the turkey. It turned out so well that we've been given the job permanently. So, today is going to be a day full of preparation and making pies for me.

But first, I need to show love to those ladies who work so hard to create beautiful layouts.

The first layout uses the kit, Nothing But Wonderful. Image is linked to the store :)

 I adore the picture in the three frames. The shadowing is nicely done. I also love the paint strip across the middle of the page, drawing attention to that sweet face. Don't forget to leave MaLinna some love by clicking on her layout!

The next layout uses Mel's newest kit called Winter Wonder. Full of fun, vibrant colors and glittery elements (who doesn't love glitter?) this kit is a must have for your holiday layouts.

wtunision did an amazing job on overlaying the picture. I love the pictures in the stars. The three pictures along the bottom just complete a beautiful layout. Click on her layout to leave her some love.

Gallery Standout: September Week1

Woot! woot! We've got a wonderful layout to show off today. Mel's galleries at Scrapbook-bytes and Gotta Pixel are sure filled with such artistic layouts. As always, it's been hard to pick one from the many submissions in the galleries. All of the layouts are truly the best in their own right but, we had to choose one that stood out from the rest.

Check this layout by Hybridgal entitled, Toby and Lacey:



It looks so unique with the way she had layered her paper strips, some rick rack, stitches, and some elements on top of her layout. And don't you just love the wonderful colors here too? It's fantastic and pretty much perfect!

She used Live, Laugh and Love Collab Kit by A+ Designs and Danimoy Designs. The kit is available at Mel's stores in SBB and GP:

Layout of the Week

September's here!! The start of 'ber months and the mark of summer almost ending. Wooh! Time do fly by so fast. It seemed only yesterday when we were enjoying the sun, the pool, and the outdoors. I hope you all had a wonderful summer and hopefully have happier days to come.

Okay, so I was browsing once again through A+ Designs' gallery to pick out one of the best LOs (of course, all are fantastic that's why it has always been hard to pick out the Layout of the Week :) ) at Scrapbook-bytes and Gotta Pixel and one layout stood out from all the rest. I specially love how msdragonfly clustered her elements on top of the page with some of her photos and leaving one photo at the bottom right corner:



She used Mel's Je Vous Aime Kit available exclusively at Gotta Pixel .

Gallery Standout for August Week 3

I have had a wonderful time browsing through Mel's galleries at Scrapbook-bytes and Gotta Pixel. All of the layouts are awesome! Artistic juices are simply flowing in each of our scrappers. Unfortunately, I can only pick one for our featured layout this week. It was hard to choose as everybody else's work were just as great. This one caught my attention right away. It always makes a page more special if a "journaling" is included to record the memory captured in the photos. No matter how simple a layout is, with a story, it becomes even more memorable.
