Layout of the Week

I'm back again this week to choose a layout in Mel's gallery that really stands out, but they all do so it was really hard. I think Mel did an amazing job with this month's Gotta Grab It kit. I love the colors and it was great to see so many layouts catch my eye with the red and green.
Here's a preview of the kit pieces. Right now is a great time to buy them since they are only $1 each

I chose CindyB's layout because of it's beautiful clustering. I also like how she cropped the picture of her mom and framed it separately, bringing the focus to it. Picture is linked to the gallery so be sure to leave her some love.

Our very own Hybridgal created an amazing page as well with this kit. The clustering is beautiful and I love the stacked papers. The font she chose for the title matches perfectly with the pictures.

Have a great rest of the week!

August 10th ~ Layout of the Week

Hi! It's Olivia! :) I'm here on this wonderful Wednesday to show you two gorgeous layouts made with kits by Mel. :)

This first layout I have is "Dandelion Wonder" by lwentkie.
I love the darker colors in the layout. The flower cluster on the top of the frame is so pretty. I also love the paper strips behind the picture. :) Wonderful layout, lwentkie!

lwentkie used Whispers in her layout. You can buy this kit in Mel's Gotta Pixel store.

My second layout I chose is "Seattle" by seniorgal.
This layout popped out in the gallery with the bright orange paper. Then I saw her clustering ... iLove! She's also rockin' the huge photo! :) Beautiful layout, seniorgal!

seniorgal used Got a Feeling, which is available in Mel's Gotta Pixel and Scrapbook-Bytes stores.

Don't forget to leave some love on these ladies' layouts... since they're so AWESOME!

Hugs and Happy Scrapping!

A Sale and Wow-derful Layouts!

Have you checked Mel's fantastic kits lately? She's adding more and more every time and each time, she never fails to create terrific and fabulous kits. And just so you know, Mel is having a 40% off sale on her products at Gotta Pixel.

The sale will run until midnight of the 30th. So, you still have time to go and check her products out :)

***
It's always fun to experiment and play with Mel's kits... I've seen really great layouts in her gallery. This week, I chose these two LOs using two of Mel's recent additions to her collection.

This one is from Angelclaud... She used the kit, She's All That by A+ Designs

I love how she placed her elements one on top of the other. The shadowing is great which makes it more realistic and not just a flat page.

The next one is from deej. The simplicity of her page makes it an elegant one. I've also been seeing a trend of stacked paper strips used in layouts lately. In her page, she placed them under her photo which added a little interest to the whole page. In this LO, deej used Mel's Just Breathe kit.
Also, I love that these pages have a personal touch to it. You can feel how the scrappers have made them by heart and not just for the sake of scrapping the photos. They are indeed both special and memorable pages.

Great ways to find insiprations for your next LOs, right?

If you find a page with Mel's products that you'd like to be featured here, leave us a message in the comments section below and we'll feature the LOs in our next posts. Or, if you'd like to share what you've made with Mel's kits, we'd love to see them and send our ohhs and ahhs of your wonderful creation.

That's it for now.

See you again soon!

Layout of the Week

The first layout I chose uses the kit Revitalize. It has amazing clustering. The pictures are fun. I love all of the layering under the photos. She did a great job with the shadowing as well.
Be sure to leave glosspop some love on her page.

The next page uses the kit Echoes of Love. I really like the inset picture over the masked picture. She did a wonderful job with her clustering. It's a lovely tribute page.
Be sure to leave LivyBug some love.

Have a great rest of the week!

Layouts of the Week

The first layout I chose uses the kit End of Summer Blues. I struggle with white space layouts and this one was beautifully done. It truly captures the meaning of "Peaceful."
Be sure to leave some love!

The next layout uses Fresh Start. I love the clustering and layering on this page! It has beautiful composition and I love how she cropped the picture smaller for focus in the upper left cluster.
Be sure to leave her some love.

Try to stay warm this week!

Layout of the Week

It was hard to choose a layout this week. There were so many that I loved but this one really stood out to me. The kit used is The Beautiful Life. The composition is amazing and the clustering of the elements are beautiful. Her journal of resolutions, I think, applies to many of us. Plus she did it all without a picture!
Be sure to leave CindyB3 some love for this gorgeous page (image is linked to her gallery)
Have a wonderful week!

Layouts of the Week

I hope you all enjoyed your holidays. We had a nice relaxing New Year's Eve at home with the children and let them all stay up to ring in the new year. Then they all fell asleep quickly. Now I have my daughter's 2nd birthday party to prepare for in three weeks! The time sure does fly by.

The first Layout of the Week uses Romance Me. I love the sepia tone of the picture with the red flowers against it. The lace borders really compliment it well.
Don't forget to leave her some love!

The next layout uses The Beautiful Life. The composition is stunning. I love the photos in the corners. The stitched round ribbon really draws your attention to the fun photos.

I hope you all have a great rest of the week!

Layout of the Week

Only three more days until Christmas! Where does the time go? My husband and I will be wrapping gifts tonight while watching a Christmas movie, not sure which one yet. I promised myself no more trips to the store because I keep seeing things that I want to buy for the kids. They don't need anything else. Do you find yourself doing that too?

The first layout of the week is called "Lovely." It uses the kits Always and Forever and Romance Me. I love the composition and it was for the speed scrap at SugarHill Co. this past Sunday.
The other layout I chose is called Fa La La. The kit used is New Year's Wish and it matches the pictures perfectly. This layout is so fun with the great pictures, glitter elements peeking out from under them and the lovely cluster in the corner.
Don't forget to leave these ladies some love. It is the giving season ya know and sometimes it can really brighten someone's day to get a comment on something you worked hard on. I know it does me!
Have a wonderful holiday season!

Layout of the Week

Only 10 days left until Christmas! Does everyone have their shopping done already? This is my first year ever to be done shopping already. I'm one of those crazy people you see shopping on Christmas Eve. :) Not this year though. With the bad weather we're supposed to get here, I'm glad I can enjoy being home.

This week I browsed through the Gotta Pixel gallery. There are some gorgeous layouts there. One that really stood out was by Hybridgal. She used the Time of Wonder collab with danimoy designs, which you can pick up at any of the stores. This layout has amazing clusters and beautifully stacked papers. Be sure to leave her some love!

The second layout I chose is by LauraMarie. She used New Years Wish. The depth of this layout is breathtaking. Everything about it is beautiful.

I will be back next Monday with a freebie for you all. Have a great rest of the week.

Layout of the Week

I can't believe it's the 1st of December already. Where did the year go? Sorry my post is so late today. I had a busy day and a sick little boy.

On to the layouts! The first one I chose used the kit Happy Fallday. This kit has gorgeous colors. Definitely one I'm going to have to work with since my youngest son celebrates his birthday the first part of November.
Here's a preview of the kit and it's linked to the store
The first layout I chose I think represented the kit well and that it doesn't have to be used for birthdays. The blending is wonderful and the clustering is amazing.
Don't forget to leave her some love!
The next layout uses Winter Wonder. I love this kit!
Here's the preview
Kathy did a great job with her layout. I adore the picture of her dog looking out the window. The composition is perfect. I love all the different elements she used. Go leave her some love on her page.

I hope you all have a good rest of the week. For those of you where it's snowing, stay safe :)
