Happy Friday, Happy Freebie

Well, it is Friday and time again for another freebie quick page. I made this layout with Funky Christmas, a collab between A+ Designs and Danimoy Designs. Since it is getting close to Christmas, I figured it was time to showcase this beautiful kit! The colors are so fun to work with and the elements are very unique and fabulous! LOTD 11/11 & a deal!

Mornin' everyone :o)  As I sit here at the computer, I'm looking out the window at the leafless trees, the gray morning sky, the frost covering the car, and I can't help but realize that winter is on its way.  Where I live, you never know if it's going to be a white winter or just really stinkin' cold and icy!  As I was browsing Mel's gallery for layouts to choose for LOTD, this beautiful winter scene, created by lauramarie, grabbed my attention -

I think the monochromatic color scheme with a pop of green from the snowflakes is just stunning, the window photo frame is perfect for her wonderful photo, and the elements she chose are spot on.  It's a clean and simple design but she captures a beautiful winter scene perfectly.  Well done, lauramarie!  Be sure to leave her some love for Winter Fun here.

As a mother of 3, pictures of my babies feet are definitely precious and treasured keepsakes.  We all know how fast children grow and before you know it, their feet are not as little and as precious as they once were.  I love this b&w photo and how it pops off the page, her beautiful cluster, the layered papers, the way the ribbon falls off the page and her simple but accurate title.  Rayne's layout gives me a lump in my throat because my own boys are just sprouting up right before my eyes.  This layout reminds me to stop and truly cherish the time I have with my children while they are still young and I hope it does you too.  Thank you, Rayne!  Be sure to leave her some love here.

Well, hopefully this will cheer you up! I am here with some freebie quick pages. I have decided to give you a quick page from a new kit and one from an older kit - just so you don't forget all the great stuff over in Mel's store at Enchanted Studio Scraps.

First up is Mel's portion of the Create a Collab kit Apple Pie. The colors of this kit are so great and, like always, Mel's elements and papers are fabulous! I love the sparkle and all the great flowers. She also has three great matching alphas - go check them out.

LOTD 11/4 & a deal!

This week, I am featuring a couple of pages from the talented A+Designs CT.  First up, a page by Jenn (jenn33199) called Annie -

Jenn used Mel's CAC: Apple Pie kit to create this gorgeous layout.  I adore the green, brown and cream color scheme, the composition and balance of the page and who can resist that smile?  I think Jenn did a fabulous job showing the versatility of this kit - just wonderful!

Next up, a page by the ever-so-talented Jan (IntenseMagic), called Proud -

Jan used the newer Whimsy kit by A+Designs to create this beautiful layout.  First off, I'd like to take a moment to thank Jan's son for his dedication and service to his country.  It is more appreciated than he will ever know!  I also want to let Jan know she most definitely can and should be proud of her son.  As American's we all should be!  Thank you both!  Now, what I'm really digging on her layout is the monochromatic color scheme, her choice of elements, her beautiful clustering and title work, the way everything is positioned left of center and, of course, the wonderful photo of her handsome soldier.  Fantastic work, lady!  Congratulations to Jenn and Jan for being this weeks LOTD's! :o)  Remember, if you would like your page considered for next week's LOTD on the blog, be sure to upload your page using any of the A+Designs products to Mel's gallery at ESS.
