Happy Monday everyone! Kristin here to continue the party and offer you another challenge. Today's challenge is an ingredients challenge. I'll list the things for the layout and you put it all together to create a layout. No more than listed and no less. It's that easy!

Ingredients:

3 papers

1 frame

2 staples

2 ribbons

3 leafs/foliage

8 flowers

1 bow

3 fillers

1 smear

1 date

title/journaling optional

Here is my layout for a little inspiration using Mel's kit "Country Shab".

So go through your stash and find a kit by Mel that you've never used or one that you just love and scrap away. Once you finished your layout upload to Mel's gallery at Gotta Pixel or Scrapbook Bytes. Be sure sure to come back a leave a comment with a link to your layout. All challenge layouts are due at 11:59 pm July 28th. At the end of the birthday bash one lucky winner will be chosen from each challenge and a $5 RAK for any of Mel's products will be given. If you participate in all challenges your name will be added to a seperate drawing for a gift card from Mel. Good luck and get those challenges done :)

Of course, everyone is a winner this month on the blog, because there will be a freebie everyday!! Today I have a clustered frame using Flamboyant. You can pick the kit up at Gotta Pixel or Scrapbook Bytes.

Destination Unknown Freebie

I recently picked up Destination Unknown- by Duo-Licious (A+ Designs and Dani Moy Designs).

on sale right now for $3.00!!

I was instantly drawn to the variety of papers. The elements are amazing, but I love good patterned paper. I wanted to use a few of the papers form the kit, and in my quest to fill out my card stash, I made this fun little card:

Friday Freebie!

Well it’s Friday again and I have another freebie for you. Since it is July (how the heck did that happen??) I made a desktop for you. I’m fairly bad about changing my desktop so I need to keep joining in Gotta Pixel’s Rock Your Desktop challenge. I used Forever Loved and made a 1440 x 900 desktop.

And here it is:

Thanks and enjoy your weekend. Have a great Fourth of July too – for those of us who celebrate it!

One of my favorites

I really enjoy creating stacked paper freebies, I love to use them for my pages, and I fell like they are versatile and beautiful. That said, I made a stacked paper using Flamboyant (available at Gotta Pixel and Scrapbook Bytes)

I'd love to see what you do to make this yours, leave a comment with your link, I'd love to see your layout!
