Something Sweet for You- A QP

Today I used three different A+ Designs products to create my layout.

First I picked a template from Mel's Templistic Falling Pack

I picked out papers and elements from 

and

so here is my page. I wanted to try the technique I've seen where holes are punched to reveal another background paper so i modified the layout accordingly.

Then I made it into a Quick Page for you!

Live Love Laugh QP Freebie

I'm still working on my page about my jewelry and the history behind it, but I wanted to pop in and share a QP made from a page I made using Mel's part of the Live Laugh Love kit by Duo-Licious:

I picked a semi-recent pic, and desaturated it then added a brown overlay to match the color to the paper. If you're looking for the type that is used in the frame, I found Lucinda Handwriting to be the closest.

I also wanted the flowers, buttons, and frame to match the brown shade, so I desaturated and added the same overlay to give them a more brown cast.

Welcome to November

Hi!  Can you believe it's November, already?  It felt like Halloween was so far away, and now it's already 2 days behind us.  I still haven't had a lot of scrapping time, in the last couple of weeks.  But, now with all the Halloween pictures, I can't wait to get back to it.  I'm looking forward to getting back into some challenges, too.
