Stretching your Stash & a Thursday Freebie

What do you do to stretch your stash? I know I like to see a kit in a new way and get more mileage out of it.  

As I was working on organizing my photos, I found this one of my kids making their Gingerbread houses last year. Then I started to look for a Christmas themed kit- well, I just don't have that many and none of them were fitting my mood. 

Then I saw Sweet American Pie! It's red and green, and not really traditional- which fit my mood at the time perfectly.

So maybe every piece of the kit won't work for a holiday layout, but mush of it does work.

Summer should be here soon, and Mel has so many kits to scrap those photos. 

Here is Nothing But Sweet, I was scrapping with some ladies from my church this weekend and together we whipped up this little QP for you. I also have it saved as a stacked paper, without the hole for the photo, if you'd like that, just drop me a line and I'll get it to you. (This is for those of you that would prefer to scrap in Picasa, it doesn't support the transparency of PNG files.)

We had fun putting this together, and then I just had to use one of my girls for the photo, because the colors match their suits!

Something Sweet for You- A QP

Today I used three different A+ Designs products to create my layout.

First I picked a template from Mel's Templistic Falling Pack

I picked out papers and elements from

so here is my page. I wanted to try the technique I've seen where holes are punched to reveal another background paper so i modified the layout accordingly.

Then I made it into a Quick Page for you!

A Whimsy QP Freebie!

Hi everyone! Noemi here once again... This will be my last post before I'll go MIA here and around digiscrapland. Things will be a bit busy at home as we are going to move to another state. Snow + New kit = Freebie quick page

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I posted. I have a few things I want to share.

Happy Monday and a Freebie

Happy New Year to everyone. Hope you all had a nice holiday - it is back to reality now! For me that reality consists of taxes, taxes and more taxes. In that mode I am getting my stuff done early and trying to be organized. I even set some goals (I am calling them goals instead of resolutions but the thought is the same) and downloaded a really cool scrapping logbook to keep track of my day to day stuff. Hopefully all these things will add up to a great year.

This week I made a freebie using Sweet Dreams. I love the colors in this kit – the plum and the gray are fabulous together. I also just love the moon and the alpha. Check it out:
